10 Amazing Steps To Creating Your Own eBook

It has never been easier now for anyone to create their own eBook and publish it online.
Whether you upload it to Amazon or add it to your own website, creating and publishing your own eBook can be achieved within a week.
For ten quick and easy steps to writing and publishing your own eBook, read on.
1. Select your topic - this can be fiction or non-fiction, a hobby, interest or skill you have or something you know nothing about. If it is the latter, research your topic and know it inside out in order to give your reader quality content.
2. Create a plan - if it's a story, get the start, middle and end written down. If it's solving a problem or issue, write down the problem or issue and keep these as a main focus when carrying out any work towards your eBook. It will be easier to get started again if you leave it and come back to it.
3. Make your outline - on a piece of paper write down your outline for example the story, main parts, main topics of each chapter, twists and turns and where they will occur, main characters and so on. If it's a factual book, start by breaking down the steps for example, writing a CV, the personal details, work history, education, qualifications, key skills and so on.
4. Use bullet points to layout your structure - break down each bullet point into facts, then break these further facts down into more bullet points. Keep going until everything you want to say in your book is out of your head and on paper.
5. Start putting the meat into it - by expanding on each chapter, section bullet point and sub-bullet point, you start adding content to your book. Keep relating back to your plan and outline if you lose focus and make sure you answer the question, solve the mystery, provide the reader with answers or explanations.
6. Read it through - when finishing a section, read it through at least three times, making amendments and corrections where necessary. Check for spelling, punctuation, grammar and obvious continuity mistakes. Make sure your book is logical.
7. Ask someone else to read it - getting another viewpoint and pair of eyes to read your material will help highlight any further obvious mistakes or anything else you have missed.
8. Copyright and disclaimer - each book needs to have a copyright and disclaimer in order that your work cannot be copied and also no-one suffers as a result of your work. There are numerous examples of each freely available on the internet or you can simply look at a book you may already have and take guidance from published statements.
9. Select a keyword rich title - by using a keyword tool, take time to look at the most popular keywords linked to your niche. Select a title that will ensure anyone searching for information in your market will come across your book.
10. Create a website with the same title - creating a website with the same title of your book will allow you to upload it onto the net and increase search results due to the keyword use.
