What Is This Hype About HGH or Human Growth Hormone?

HGH or Human Growth Hormone is a hormone produced by the pituitary gland which regulates the growth of children. It can be found at the base of the brain, a very small gland, just like the size of a green pea. It also keeps the tissues, muscles, fat and possibly all the major organs in the body sustained and working as expected.
However, when a person ages, the hormone is being slowly produced by the pituitary gland. That is how it works. With this, most middle aged people experience signs of diminished growth hormone production. They start to have wrinkles. Their bodies become weak. They grow old and eventually, the body expires.
HGH is often called the Fountain of Youth, is this true?
Many companies which promote anti-aging products use synthetic human growth hormone formulated in laboratories. Yes, it can be scientifically produced. In the mid-1980's, the use of this man-made hormone was approved by the Food and Drug Association (FDA) but for the purpose of rehabilitation and health improving concerns.
There are some cases wherein children are deficient in this hormone - their bodies cannot produce as it is supposed to be doing naturally - and they are prescribed the manmade ones. Adults too are given the medication in instances wherein there is an intestinal disease, pituitary tumors and HIV-related conditions.
HGH is often called the Fountain of Youth because life-threatening diseases "see a glimmer of hope" so to speak. It significantly reverses the aging process and aids in the treatment of various illnesses. For some, this manmade hormone is magical. Once a person ingests it, positive effects are witnessed. Some feel that their bodies improve in building muscles. Some lose unwanted fats. Many have said that their skin looks better and that overall, they feel better. Their immune system is stronger while they age because of this growth hormone.
Is it illegal to use the synthetic hormone other than for medical motives?
The use of HGH for these reasons is not sanctioned by the FDA but the production of this synthetic hormone is not controlled or illegal either. This is why many beauty products most especially those with labels which write: ANTI-AGING has the manmade human growth hormone. Like collagen which is produced for improving hair and nails, this too has a liquid and pills form for beauty functions.
I plan to use it look younger, is it safe?
There are some possible side effects reported with the use of man-made growth hormone but nothing major. Some have said that it increase their cholesterol levels. Some reported that they have experienced tingling. The heaviest effect of synthetic HGH is joint pains. But these are all just possible reasons - it cannot be fully attributed to ingesting the man-made hormone alone.
It will be wise to talk to your doctor if you are more than 50% decided that you want to take this growth hormone. While there is nothing wrong in purchasing products with this as a main ingredient, it pays a lot to be on the safe side. But you know, those who have been using it are very happy with the results. It involves a lot of factors and your physician is more equipped to diagnose if HGH manmade will work for you just fine.
