Future Of Green Technology: 2 Wheel Scooters

The clamor for greener and cleaner living has never been more prominent than it is today. This is perhaps one reason 2 wheel scooters that are electronically powered or the ones that use biofuel are becoming popular. Additionally, the release of electronic scooters also makes it easy for commuters to travel to their intended destinations without having to worry about the everyday traffic. For those of you who are looking at scooters as an alternative to cars or other public transport, here are some things that you might want to consider.
Advantages
2 wheel scooters are an excellent example of greener technology as it uses electricity instead of gas or petroleum products which are harmful to the environment. The scooters can be charged using AC220V50-60Hz voltage and a 260Wh power is about 180 minutes of charging time. For those who have a different voltage, about 110V - 240V, an hour and a half charging time will give you 80% full capacity.
Maximum speed that a rider can go with it is about 18km/hour. This will also depend on the rider's weight, the weather/temperature and the condition of the road. Most scooters are equipped with hi-tech balancing chips to help the rider towards the intended destination. In terms of build, most are made of premium material such as natural rubber, magnesium alloy frame and an all-copper coil which prevents it from overheating thus it stays durable longer. Some have waterproofing installed to help protect the control circuits ensuring that the control system stays safe and protected.
The big screen in front that most scooters have makes it easier for the rider to process information such as the destination or direction. The anti-collision design prevents and minimizes the impact that occurs when collisions accidentally happened.
Disadvantages
Although it is a great alternative to reduce our carbon footprint, the scooter is not for everybody. The maximum load capability of the scooter is up to 120kg only which is not ideal for heavy individuals. It is also not ideal for rough terrains as riders might accidentally stumble or lost control. It is ideal for urban areas or terrains that have flat surfaces. For those with mobility concerns or are physically disabled, a mobility scooter might be the best one to get as there are no seats with a 2 wheel and riders have to maintain a standing position during the time.
Is it Right for You?
A 2 wheel electronic scooter might not be the best option for those who are looking for adventure as it requires flat and even terrain for safety reasons. That being said, 2-wheel scooter might just be the right transport system for those who are looking for ways to reduce their transportation costs or want to avoid traffic and since it is compact in size, it is easier to navigate through dense areas especially in the city.
